So.... I was killing time watching ^mindless television^, pathetically enough.
On
MTV's: True Life, there was an episode, something along the lines of, '
Happy to be Fat'.
All I could think was,
W O W..
really?
A woman actually became overweight, purposely...
Not implying that every female should look like this:
Because I definitely agree, that chick looks sick..
But.. gaining excessive weight is just as disgusting.
I barely want to see someone my own size running around on the beach in a skimpy bikini, let alone, some lady who is 100 pounds overweight.
I understand being happy in your own skin.. But maybe people shouldn't be happy with that.
To intertwine all of my previous statements, 'happy' overweight people want to be 'accepted' and want people to understand that they love their weight.
But I do not see it ever becoming socially acceptable to be overweight, purposely.
I consider it supporting an unhealthy lifestyle.
Lets just teach kids this instead:If your self esteem is high enough, forget your health, be overweight.
